Our Wedding Day Approach...

Congratulations on your engagement! We are excited you are here and grateful you are considering KLP to capture the special day between you and the love of your life! You said "YES"! Next up? WEDDING PLANNING! We understand it can be overwhelming. Even a tad bit crazy! Our goal is to help ease some of that stress. Here at KLP we take pride in being part of your wedding day support group and strive to help our couples in any we can. We are here to help you plan your engagement session, have wedding vendor referrals at the ready, and love assisting couples in creating your wedding day timeline. Step by step, we are here for you. We will quickly become some of your biggest (and happiest!) fans and serve as an extra set of hands to help ensure your wedding day goes beautifully.

The KLP wedding experience is personal from start to finish as we work with our couples to share their love story. We are there to capture the raw emotions of your day, laugh alongside of you while grabbing the fun candid images, and pride ourselves in providing you with traditional portraits as well. When it comes time to edit, we deliver a curated gallery with images that feature true to life color, leaving you with classic portraits to be cherished for years.

The First Look

Personally, I love that first looks allow couples moments of intimacy during the chaos often associated with wedding days. During a first look you are able to actually hold each other, talk to one another, and basically “be” together. As a photographer it is also beautiful to witness how much seeing each other before the ceremony can help you relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

The Little Moments

It's the way you sit in the chair while getting your hair done-taking in the chaos and happiness of everyone getting ready, or the way your dad smiles as your big sister toasts you and your love, and the way the best man shed's a tear seeing his best bud dance with his mom (YES, it does happen!). Those little moments and more pull at our hearts and we look for them everywhere on your special day.

From the moment you see yourself in the mirror looking A-MAZING in your dress - to being pronounced as a married couple - to taking center stage on the dance floor we live for the genuine, happy moments throughout your day.
