Aiden, technically a Junior, will be graduating early this year.  Planning for his senior portraits ended up being a little unexpected for his family; however, his session went off without a hitch!  He and his family made it easy on my end to plan for his session and Aiden’s smile won me over pretty quickly when me met. 

While Mom indicated more often than not you can find her son dressed in athletic wear, he made her mama ❤️ happy , sporting the perfect fall attire for his portraits.  With fall colors still lingering at a favorite nearby park of mine, we had the perfect backdrop for Aiden’s fall portraits.  Throw in this 2025 Senior was a natural in front of the camera he made my job not only fun, but easy!

As we head into winter, Aiden is looking forward to his final season of basketball.  It’s a sport in which Aiden’s mom noted he shines in and I have no doubt she is excited to watch her son take to the court in a few short weeks!

Aiden, it was a pleasure meeting you!  Wishing you the very best in all of your future plans and adventures!  Have a great basketball season young man! 🏀

The day of Delaney’s senior portrait session fell during one of the most beautiful October weekends I can remember.  Truthfully speaking, this fall (overall) has been amazing for NW Ohio photographers and their clients 🍂🍁

Delaney is both a kind and beautiful senior.  Talking to her, she reminded me of her mom, who is an “old” cheer friend of mine from our high school days.  It was great to catch up while also getting to know Delaney.  I loved that Delaney’s younger sister (and personal stylist 😉) joined us during big sister’s pictures.  Extra hype girls are always appreciated ❤️

Delaney is making the most of her senior year and attends PENTA Career Center for most of her day. Following high school graduation she is planning on attending a local community college to further her education.  She is active in choir and is dedicated to the sport of Track & Field where she is a thrower. 

May you continue to enjoy your senior year, Miss Delaney!  Wishing you the very best in all of your future endeavor.  It was fun sharing in your senior year experience!

Lake High School

It was cold.  It was windy.  It was a bit chaotic.  But most importantly, we got the session done (right mama?!!!) AND captured some great portraits in the process. 

Micah is a great young man coming from an awesome family.  He falls in the middle of a lineup of 3 kids for mom and dad. With 2024, 2025, and 2026 Seniors life is not only fun, but also full for Micah and his family.

Micah himself is a multisport athlete.  He is also an accomplished one at that!  Tomorrow he will be making his second appearance at the OHSAA Cross Country State Championships!  So amazing!  Once cross country comes to a close, you will find him on the wrestling mats this winter, and on the track this spring.  He is also a proud member of the Lake High School Marching Band where he plays the saxophone. 

Micah is continuing to explore all of the opportunities available to him following graduation.  With a few college visits under his belt, he is hoping to continue his running career as he works towards a degree. 

Join me in wishing the very best to this young man tomorrow at the STATE level!

It was such a joy to meet this beautiful 2025 Senior, Shayleigh!  She has such a bright smile and radiates positivity.  Her enthusiasm combined with a gorgeous fall evening allowed us to capture lovely senior portraits. 

A cheerleader, dancer, and theater performer Shayleigh was a natural in front of the camera making my job not only easy, but also so much fun ☺️ I loved having the opportunity to chat with both her and her mom and witnessing the sweet relationship they share.

There is something special about capturing senior portraits of a young adult you were fortunate enough to know when they were younger.  Seeing Cooper (and his mom!) recently for his senior portraits brought back a wave of memories.  This handsome senior falls between two of my sons in graduating years.  When the boys were all younger I was fortunate to help coach Cooper in soccer and baseball.  We shared many great memories on the flag football field as well.  While Cooper has grown into an extraordinary young man, his blue eyes and curls (forever favorites of mine!) remain. 

During his senior year, Cooper has chosen to take place in our school district’s co-op opportunity available to those soon to be graduating.  I love this option for students as it allows students to attend their required classes at the high school needed for graduation before heading to work.  Cooper is eager to graduate come Spring and continuing his work experience. 

“Coop” (and mom), it truly was great seeing you again and catching up.  I am thankful for so many wonderful memories over the years ❤️ Wishing you the best always Cooper!

Last, but not least from Ridener Triplets...Carson!  Like his partners in crime (aka brothers) Carson is an outstanding young man.  He is witty and has smirk that leaves you wondering what is he thinking about 😉 He works hard towards his goals and is deserving of his various accomplishments over the years.  With his brother, Jacob, helping to make holes on offense Carson is an explosive running back and tons of fun to watch on Friday nights.  He makes his presence known when playing defense as well. 

Carson, too, is continuing to explore his various options following graduation.  Like his brother, Jacob, he wishes to continue playing football in college.  Together, along with their family, they are hoping for the opportunity to play for the same college come next year.  Following football playoff action this fall, Carson intends to focus on his final season of track. Fingers crossed his hard work will lead to another appearance at the state track meet come Spring. 

Best wishes in all of your future endeavors, Carson!  It was wonderful playing a small part in your senior year! 💚❤️

Next up as I share portraits from a great set of triplets I worked with this fall...Jacob!  Jacob is quite simply just a very likable guy.  He is a powerhouse on the football field, but yet is humble.  He gives his all to everything he does and is one of the most determined young adults I have ever met.  He leads by example and I cannot wait to see where the future takes him. 

Jacob is continuing to explore his various options following graduation.  An All Ohio athlete, he has attended various football camps and wishes to continue his football career by playing in college.  On Friday nights you can find him making holes on the offensive line and when it comes to defense...he is a beast.  A three sport athlete, when football comes to an end you will find him on the basketball court and later in the spring throwing shot put and discus. 

May your senior year continue to be a success, Jacob.  Keep chasing your dreams young man! 💚❤️

We are headed towards the end of October and I have been busy, busy, BUSY!  I am excited to share some sneaks with you tonight...starting off with a great set of triplets that are Seniors this year at OHHS.  I have shared a couple of portraits previously that included all three handsome fellas at once, but they each deserve their own post as well 😉

First up...Isaac!  Talk about a great young man that is doing big things.  Isaac is passionate about farming and takes pride in all that he does.  He has combined his love for technology and farming and operates a successful business that uses drone technology for the purpose of spraying.  He has been an active member of the Oak Penta - Oak Harbor FFA Chapter for years and currently serves as Vice President. 

Isaac always greets you with a smile, is polite, and wise beyond his years.  It was a true pleasure to work with this extraordinary senior!

Keep doing big things, Isaac!  Wishing you the best! 💙💛

Perkins High School 

Wow.  Just WOW!  Caitlin’s senior portrait session was nothing short of amazing.  This 2025 Senior’s session was coordinated rather quickly and we were able to connect with one another on an early Monday morning during school hours.  In the future I would love to offer this option more to those who perhaps have practice/games after school and may not need to head into school until later in the day for classes. During Caitlin’s session we had what is normally a busy beach all to ourselves and it was lovely.

Caitlin is a natural in front of the camera and I am grateful her and her mom trusted me to choose the perfect early fall locations for our time together.  We accomplished a lot in the short amount of time we were together and captured a wide variety of images that together create a beautiful gallery.  Prior to Caitlin’s own senior session I had the opportunity to meet her during a friend’s senior portrait session (they also happen to be soccer teammates!) and I was happy to see her bright smile and blue eyes again a few months later 😉

Caitlin, it was great meeting both you and your mom. I enjoyed having the opportunity to chat with you and play a small role in your senior year.  Wishing you the very best for the remainder of your senior year and beyond 💕

Miss Madelyn (and her parents)...bless them.  Leading up to Madelyn’s session we had to adjust.  And adjust again.  We intended to shoot much of Madelyn’s senior portrait session at various locations alongside Lake Erie.  However, the weekend of Madelyn’s portrait session conditions in Northwest Ohio were less than ideal. Strong winds.  Big waves.  Bouts of rain.  And clouds galore.  The day prior to her session we agreed to change locations for Madelyn’s session.  The day of her session?  Well, we moved up the time of her session due to dark, dark skies.  Was it all worth it?  YES!!! 🙌🏻 

I loved the outfit selections Madelyn chose for her senior session.  With a mix of summer and fall vibes we captured a wide range of looks coupled with various locations.

A few months into her senior year of high school Madelyn stays busy.  She is a three sport athlete playing volleyball, basketball, and track.  Madelyn has the sweetest disposition and I loved chatting with her and her parents. 

With many college acceptances already in hand, Madelyn is looking forward to continuing her education following high school graduation and plans to major in psychology.

Madelyn, it was great meeting you and capturing this special set of of portraits.  May your senior year continue to be a success...wishing you the best! 💕

It has been so much fun photographing this wonderful set of triplets.  I am looking forward to finishing up my time with this trio of 2025 Seniors by capturing Isaac in his element tonight. 

This coming week I am dedicating much of my editing time to getting their images edited and delivered.  Portraits x 3 Seniors + Group Shots = A lot of Images 😉

This senior session was a special one as I’m honored to call this young lady family.  I had the joy of growing up with her dad and will forever remember him as one of my favorite humans.  When I look at Chloe’s sweet face I see traits of various family members of ours, but also see her mother that loves her so 💕 Remembering the spunky, little toddler she once was and seeing her now as a gorgeous young adult is remarkable.  PS...the spunk is still there 😉

Chloe is kind, funny, and a true go getter.  She knows what she wants and she goes after it.  She is a member of the OHHS Golf team, National Honor Society, and you may recognize her as a member of the OHHS Marching Band where she is proudly one of this year’s field commanders!

While the weather the day of Chloe’s session was anything but ideal, she and her mama were willing to take our chances with shooting.  We embraced the wind, the clouds, and threats of additional rain and the end results were all worth it.

I am looking forward to having this bright young woman in front of my camera again this Spring.  In the meantime I will continue to cheer her on and look forward to hearing of her final college decision.  She intends to major in education and I have no doubt she will succeed.
